Design and experimental research on disc-type seeding device for single-bud sugarcane seeds

Mechanized sugarcane seeding is one of the effective technical measures for improving uniformity and operation efficiency. However, imperfection supporting equipment limits promotion application this technology. As there are some problems in domestic planting machines currently, such as large auxiliary labor, high labor intensity, low uniformity, amount seeds, a disc-type single-bud seed metering device was innovatively designed on basis analysis physical properties seeds combination with agronomic requirements field paper. Solidworks used to simulate analyze mechanism, check theoretical parameters, process test prototype. Through single-factor experiments, factors affecting were determined. A multi-factor orthogonal rotation designed, data collected then SPSS get optimal parameters uniformity: advancement speed machine 0.22 m/s, number disc grooves 10, rotating 0.18 r/s, 86.2%; verified by trial, results showed that average verification 83%, error 3.2% relative optimization result. The within 10%, indicating result reliable meets thus providing research development device.
